your problem is also known as HOT and COLD SENSITIVITY...Whenever a person eats or drinks something very cold(or sometiemes very hot) it causes sensititvity in that particular tooth...
there could be two main reasons for it....
your tooth could have caries(Could be cavitated) exposing the inner layer of your tooth which results in any thing very cold causing sensitivity...in that case your particular tooth would be filled
or you could have slight inflamation of gums of that tooth(gingivitis) which might cause sensitivity whenever something cold is eaten or drunk...in that case, localized scaling of that tooth or that area would be done...
the best thing you could do is start brushing properly specially in that particular area,if the condition is mild it will fade away and get it checked by a dentist...it is best to resolve such conditions at early stage rather than be discomfortable after few months or years...best of luck

A desenetizing toothpaste may help but only a dentist can see if you have exposed enamel at the gum area...or a beginning cavity.
