my baby did this at a year. as soon as he awoke in the morning, we sat him on the potty right away and made a fuss when he peed (which was usually a couple of minutes after sitting). he just couldn't hold it any longer! a couple of weeks and he got the hang of holding it till he got to the potty. soon, he wanted to stand and pee like daddy. one less diaper change! and over the next year he went quick with potty training!

no that means he will be so easy to potty train. I have a 27 month old daughter and can't get her not to wet a diaper at night.

This will be the easiest baby ever to potty train. No worries. If he wets during the day on a regular basis, he is not dehydrated.

Nope! Definatley time to start potty training!!!!! You are a lucky one! My 2 year old does NOT like the potty dispite all my best efforts...You should try putting him on the potty frequently during the day!

Actually I heard that when your child can hold their urine while they sleep means that they have enough control to start potty training. If he's ready at 18 months, that's a bonus. I know boys are usually harder to potty train than girls. Good luck!

No. You shouldn't worry about it. I see that as more of a blessing. It's probably a sign that he's ready to be potty trained. As long as he still pees, there's no medical problems.

Congratulations! He's ready to start potty training. Just start introducing the idea to him, and when you are ready, put him in underwear so he can go by himself and plus feel when he's wet.

perfectly normal don't worry about it as long as he is wetting enough in the day time, just one less thing for you to have to worry about when you are pottty training!

what's wrong with that? perfectly normal. At this age, they have much better bladder control. It's also a sign that you can start potting train him now.
