My dog acts like crazy man after he gets a bath. I don't know if it's the water or the fact that he's super clean and smells fresh, but he runs around and acts like a friggin maniac!! Tell me what YOUR dog acts like after his bath..I think mine is nuts..lol.

Mine does the same thing. He is 115 pounds and almost 4 yrs old and acts like a puppy after his bath. He runs around the house and yard, rubs against the couch, gets loud, jumps on the beds.. he just acts goofy. We can't help but laugh at him. I blow dry him as well a little and that makes him even crazier, but he loves it! We just let him do his thing and he settles down after about 45 minutes of runny around crazy.

Yes, my dog does the same thing, and I think most dogs do. As soon as I release her from the towel-drying, she runs around the yard with her butt tucked down (that's her posture for all crazy-dog-lap-running) and occasionally does a little spin.

My husband and I work out of our house, so she will also go looking for someone else to share her wet fur with. After her last bath, she ran into the office and I heard a girl's sqealing, so I knew she had found Sofie, our Accounting person, and was eagerly jumping all over Sofie's pretty outfit.

no, your dog is NOT nuts! My dogs do the same thing. (maybe mine are nuts, too!) As soon as they are dried off they take off thru the house! Dont know how they do NOT smack into the walls! They used to run their bodies along the carpet until we ripped it up! Now they like to go outside and roll around in the grass!!! I think that is pretty normal behavior.

If you think your dog is crazy, then my dog must be crazy too....lol
She goes nuts after having a bath, too....i think it just feels good to them and that's the only way they can show it.

Mine, too. He's a little 5 pound ball of fur that just races around after his bath and blow dry. ;)

Up the stairs.
Down the stairs.
Around the table.
On the couch.
Off the couch.

Repeat 20x.

It's hysterical.
They're so wonderful, aren't they?

My boyfriend's lab does this, after he gets rinsed, he goes and rolls in the dirt, coming out dirtier than before we gave him a bath! I think he dislikes the smell of the doggie shampoo!
