Can you really have the best of both worlds? I know that there are Jews for Jesus. But are there also Muslims who believe that Christ is the son of God and is their Savior?

To the best of my understanding the Islamic faith holds that Jesus was a "prophet" of G-d. But not the last (pbuh). Muslims do not subscribe to the doctrine of Jesus as savior. The old Deity worth the honor and worship is Allah and Mohammed is his messenger.

Hope this helps clarify your question.

Also in regards to Jews for Jesus. Neither does Jewish doctrine subscribe to the notion of Jesus as savior. You cannot be both a Christian and Jew, no matter what anyone tells you. They are separate and have conflicting ideas about messiah. "Jews" for Jesus are Christians BECAUSE they believe that Jesus is a savior. They do however practice certain aspects of Jewish tradition, but this alone does not, in any way, make them Jews.

On the same token, A person cannot be both a Muslim and a Christian at the same time.

No. Muslims don't believe Jesus as a Savior. The real Savior is Allah, the All-powerful God of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. He doesn't depend on Jesus, Moses or Muhammad. He forgives whoever He wants.

Islamic belief of Jesus:
---------------------------------------------------
We Muslims believe the following things about Jesus:

1. We love Jesus & respect him as a major prophet of Islam.
2. We also love the mother of Jesus, the Virgin Mary. We believe she was a pious and noble woman chosen over all of the women of the world.
3. Muslims believe that Jesus was born miraculously of a virgin mother and no father. His birth is miraculous like the birth of Adam, the first human being, who was created with neither mother nor father.
4. Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the son of God. God is so powerful and self-sufficient that He does not need a son or any kind of partner.
5. In Arabic Bible the name for God is Allah. Therefore all Arab Christian call God Allah as Muslim do as well.
6. Jesus did not die on the cross. Rather, God saved him as his enemies were confused about him. Jesus was taken up by God to Heaven.
7. Jesus is called Isa (pronounced Eesa) in Arabic.
8. Jesus performed miracles by the Will of God, like healing the blind and those with leprosy.
9. Jesus prayed to the same God as all Prophets and we Muslims pray to.
10. Jesus will return before the end of the world

This is easy to answer and you'll like the answer. Being a Muslim teaches true Muslim's to respect all other religions and they're beliefs. Not to war over them. Real religions were built off of love and understanding. And if you are a Muslim and believe in Jesus Christ as the Savior you are entitle to this belief and God may be trying to unite the two religions using you some way. God works in ways not always understandable to people. God is all knowing and only he can understand.

No , you cannot , you wouldn't be following God's Word . In order to be in the right you would have to be following Jesus . John 14:6 . In the Quran it denies the Divinity of Jesus . Quran 4:171 , 5:78 , 9:30-31 , 3:64 . The Bible tells us that Jesus was conceived by the power of God . Matthew 1:20 , Luke 1:34-35 . God bless you and peace to you .....

A muslim cannot believe that jesus is the son of god. They can only believe in him as a prophet. Anything else would be considered haram (a sin) to them. They do believ he was a prophet and that he worked many miracles for god which is why they highly respect him but it goes against their beliefs to place him any higher than prophet. Being the son of god makes it the belief in more than one god and takes away worship from Allah (god).

Jesus is just another prophet in Islam. But do remember, Muslims believe that prophets were sent by God for a reason so Jesus is not necesarrily most important but still up there.

Grace unto you and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Your question is about as silly women as saying can you be American and believe that Jesus Christ is your Saviour. Perhaps you meant Islam rather than Muslim. Many Muslims are Americans, and seem to know more about the Bible than you do.

Of "Jesus Christ" only "Christ" is "Saviour of the world" (John 4:42; 2Cor 5:19; 1John 4:18) as "the end of the law (Rom 10:4); "Jesus" (as the seed of David) is notably only Saviour unto Israel (of Jacob/Israel): Acts 13:23.

Which things are an allegory.

God our Saviour will notably have both all men saved(graced) AND all men aware what they're saved(delivered) from (1Tim 2:3,4). We are "delivered from the law" (Rom 7).

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

No not that I know of, but I guess if you accept Mohamed as a prophet, and you believe that Jesus is your lord, and savior then it would kind of denying the Bible, and the Koran, and you would not have any proof to support your belief. Try to find ways to support your belief.

Well...NO. Muslims believe that Muhammed was the prophet who wrote the book, and they are waiting for their Messiah. Jesus was the Messiah for the Christians. Jews believe Jesus was a great prophet, but not the Messiah.
