Basically, as a rule of thumb, you are not allowed to carry anything construed as a liquid, this includes pastes etc lighters, makeup, and all other liquids. Also as normal you are not allowed to carry sharp objects, prescription items may be carried if you check with airline, everything must be in a clear plastic bag, prescription drugs should have their information leaflets with them.
All the handluggage that you have been allowed to carry in the past may now go in hold-luggage, and there should be no excess bagagge charge incurred for this.
If in doubt check airlines or airports website.

Uzi's, M16's and C4 explosive are frowned upon.
Green jelly babies are allowed. As are unwrapped Kit Kats and plain crisps.
