OK so my off and on ex dumped me for good a week ago and told me we're definitely not talking and enough is enough. Well I went on Match.com a few days ago to see if he was back on there..thinking he wouldn't be...(that's where we met a year ago)! And he's BACK ON!!! with a profile saying looking for a relationship, wanting to meet a great girl that wants to do anything together and be spontaneous, take trips etc....im 22 and he's 28 and i'm just SOOOOO frustrated! I havent called him or anything but I just feel so bad cuz he dumped me to "figure out if im the one" and then he jumps right back online? HELP!

Looks like you need to stop spying on him. He probably wants something else that you don't have. Go back to LavaLife or whatever and give it another try!

It sounds like he doesn't really want to be in a serious relationship. I know its hard because you still have feelings for him but you gotta let it go. At least he was man enough to break it off and didn't cheat just so he could have his cake and eat it too. Just trust and believe that their is someone out there for you and take it as a blessing that this happened so you can be receptive for when love swings your way again. It's his loss, just take solace in knowing that he probably let go of the best thing that ever happened to him and that he'll never find someone better than you.

I don't understand the WTF - you were together, he dumped you, you're not together anymore and he's back looking - for someone else. If you were together a year and met on match then it seems like he had pretty good luck there and so went back to try again.

Accept his words and his actions - he dumped you, dosn't want to talk, enough is enough and he's looking for another relationship.

The part where he's trying to figure out if you're the one - that was an attempt to save your feelings, cause if you were, he wouldn't need to not talk or see you to realize how much he cared for you.

Time to move on and let this go.

girl, dont stress yourself. Get back on too, find someone that doesnt have to think whether he wants a relationship. If he really was worried about you, he wouldnt be on there. Not to sound mean or anything, but thats how it is. Just find someone that wants you, i found my husband on true.com. Sure did, and its great. I went through alot of losers to get the right one. Head up girl. And one more thing, he sounds like a cheater, dont bother.

I really feel your pain. I have been through something similar. I know it seems impossible now, but he truly isn't worth your time and you have to let him go. Give yourself an evening to cry, then dry your tears and start spending time with things or people that make you happy. As soon as you're ready, get back in the dating game. It will hurt, but it will get a little easier every day.

I don't understand what you need help with. He apparently is over you and is looking for something else. It happens. You should go ahead and put your profile back up on match and he might spot you and then call you back up. If he calls you to ask you out tell him you can't because you already have a couple of dates lined up. heheh

When a guy says he needs to figure things out it means that he has all ready cheated on you or is thinking about cheating. He probably broke up with you because he didn't want to cheat on you. Forget about him and move on. I'm sure it will be hard but you will get through it.

Sorry to be blunt, but "figuring out if you're the one" means you're not the one. He broke up with you. All bets are off. You'll meet someone new too...I agree that it's sucky that this is so quick, but you can't control what he does anymore.

maybe you should make up a name and go online and talk to him and see what he do or just ask him why he back match.com because he don't want you he needs to tell you instead of giving you around..

All's fair in love and war...........that's the breaks.

Besides, most relationships only last two years anyway, and if you get married, the most you can hope for is 5 years.

If you are looking for happily ever after, I suggest you stick with the fairy tale, that's what they are for.
