Well you wouldn't find them in a cook book would you. The Bible is comprised of 66 books, these were written by 40 men, what was written down in the Bible were not man's words, they were wrote BY the hand of man but under DIVINE guidance, in short, God guided their hands, rather like that of a mother who teaches her child to write. This book was wrote to keep our lives straight. The last book in the bible is 'Revelation' it tell of man's past, present and future You cannot ''write'' scripture for ANYONE, you can only 'quote' it. The penalty for adding or removing anything from the scriptures is death, I don't mean you will be instantly struck down, but you will simply die at Armageddon and not be given a second chance prove you are worthy of a new life here on earth.

You should take the Bible serious, it has saved many lives and will continue to do so. However, you can't know until you are guided by God.
You lack the most important thing in your life and thats by asking Jesus Christ into your life and if you are sincere, you will be filled with the Holy Spirit and you would be working for God right now, as there are so many people out there who need Christ in their lives. Spiritually speaking life is too short, but you need to be saved and live for eternity and spread this message to everyone you can. Because, Christ is coming back soon and everything that is happening on this planet now was prophesied in the Bible.
Look at the world today, everything is becoming corrupted. Christianity is not a religion, it's a way of life. Once you have turned your life over to God, everything will become clearer to you, and I promise you, nobody or nothing will prevent you from denying your Faith. He is a wonderful Saviour and He wants us all to be saved and be given Eternal Life, In Heaven with Him.
I was in the Army, but also during civilian life I have had a few near death experiences, and I can honestly say, there is no such thing as an atheist, because if you are in a near death experience, who do people call upon?.......God of course. Their are so many Christian websites and helplines. God is real because I am here today answering your question, I only hope you find a life in Christ, there will be prayer going up for you from now on.
