I don't have any god, but i guess that the ones who have got one, given a situation like the one you describe, they will assume that there's something to understand and meditate about good becoming blind and mute. They always try to give sense to things that make no sense at all.

It really depends on how this God became yours. If you created your God, then you should be able to repair your God yourself, and so I would say it is up to you to open your God's eyes and let your God speak.
If your God was created by someone else, then I would say while you might have some influence, more likely your God must be either repaired by your God's creator, or you might have to adjust your perceptions of your God to find out if your God really is blind and mute, or if it is instead your senses that need to be repaired.

if your god is blind and mute, then you should get rid of it. it was probably blind and mute from the beginning but you just werent paying attention. by the way, stop worshiping idols. they cannot help you.
