depends on what your heating up..if it has a sauce or some liquids on the "food" then not really unless heated up for a long time.but they tend to usually get burned.

Why is this even a controversy? Styrofoam and paper plates are meant for activities whilst a actual plates are impractical alongside with eating exterior, or at great gatherings. For day after day use, the two Styrofoam and paper plates are wastefull.

It will melt. It's also not recommended to use those kind of cups to have any hot beverages because that causes the stylofoam's little particles to melt.

yes they will melt and cause cancer. I think it's called carcinogens? They are like a chemical when heated and very bad for you, smells terrible too. They also say to avoid using any plastic, especially the cheap stuff in the micro. Also causes cancer. Use only glas. Paper plates are ok i think.

depends what you put in them. If what you put in them gets over 250 degress the cup will then melt. The styro has no water in the cells so it won't melt on its own. Nor will it even get hot.

Most of the time they will melt. Check the packaging to see if they are microwave safe. If you don't have the package I wouldn't risk it.
Have a great day!!!
