Are you worried that your pet is overly active or "hiper" ? What kind of pet is it ? A dog ? A cat ? .. A fish ? .. Some dogs, depending on the breed are more active / hiper than other breeds. It could be that your pet just needs to go outside more and go to pet parks and run around on a daily basis. If you think there may be something wrong with your pet .. the only thing to do is to bring it to the Vet. My own pet is a Boxer and she is fairly mellow .. but that is because her breed tends to be that way. In contrast .. a Terrier Breed might be seen as very active or hiper. Good luck ! :)

Sometimes. Basically is only when I tell him if he needs to go potty. Then I turned his switch on and he bounces from one wall to the other onto the couch and around the table, in and out of the door, until finally I get to the outside door and he follows me to the back yard and he calms down. He gets very hiper when he has to go potty.

YEP! I have a full blooded American Rat Terrier. His name is Buster Lee Brown and he is SOOO HYPER. Terriers are one of the most hyper breeds of dogs. They require LOTS of play time and a good diet. If they are left alone a lot they will sometimes develope "behaviorial problems". Hyper dogs also like to bark a lot. So give your hyper dog LOADS of love, play, and attention. My dog doesn't get enough of playtime. He'll go swimming, running, play fetch forever, chase the laser, jump all over, play chase with the cat, play more fetch, do tricks, run some more, do some tug of war and repeat the process. He'd do that all day if my fiance and I had the time, and if we'd let him!

yeah a little bit but she is only 20 months old. She has been fixed and I have noticed she has slowed down a little bit, however she still is a bit hyper around people. She is good natured and loves everybody, couldn't ask for a better dog. By the way she is a husky

Depends on the day....I have a Brittany and they are natually hyper dogs. I take her out and let her run for at least an hour a day...plus the play time at home...however...there are days every know and then where I don't have time to take her out....those days she can be pretty hyper....but that is my fault. On the days that we go run she gets home and just sleeps or lays around.

My kittens Bindi and Molly are in the morning. This morning they raced up and down the hall about 50 times, sounding like little racehorses. Now they're both crashed out sleeping in the windowsill. It's a kitten thing. :-)

one of my dogs is yes! She turns everything into a game, she is so funny to watch, she just decides to go tearing round the house with a crazy look in her eyes and skidding all over the place. We throw a ball for her outside to tire her out a bit, this works pretty well - it tires her out for about an hour!

My black lab mis is about as crazy as they come. I love him to death, but he thinks that when people enter my house, they are there to see him! He goes bonkers! But I think that all animals have a chance to be hyper, it just depends on the breed, type, and the individual demeanor of the animal.
