I think it depends on the goal of your club. If you are exploring women's issues I would HIGHLY recomend the book:
Miss Measure of a Woman - By Carol Tavris
This book is an excellent look at the challenges women face, the stereotyping, social blocks etc. It is extremely well writen and would provide ample topics for disucssion.

depends on your club's interests, make up a questionaire asking the women what topics they would like to schedule
also a book club is a good idea and have a book of the month club, choose a book[accessible in the library] everyone reads it and then discuss it on a meeting day

Women have been provided with great freedom with in invention of the Pill, pantyhose and pampers of the last 35 years. How is it this generation denegrate themselves by wearing thongs in public and focus on sex so much? What has all this great technology done for them and to our culture?
