It's surprising that they never met in the ring as this would have been a very good battle! I believe that Norris had superior hand speed but McCallum was the better puncher especially to the body. I believe McCallum would slow Norris down with effective body punching and would win by 11th round TKO.

Brent F ~
I don't why these two never met, this match would have been a good one though. Terry "Terrible" Norris was a dangerous puncher but unfortunately for him it was discovered he had no chin. Towards then end of his career he was down on the floor looking up a the lights a lot. Mike "The Body Snatcher" McCallum had a pretty good chin and was just relentless in his pressure and could go 12 hard rounds if need be. I think Norris would rock him early with that beautiful straight right hand he use to throw but Mike would catch up to him with a tremendous body attack thus slowing Norris down enough to catch him with a big left hook to Terry's vulnerable chin and laying him out for the count in round 8. I think Terry was his absolute best when he fought a very old but game Sugar Ray. Nice match up Brent!

To Santana d - You call yourself a self-respecting boxing fan, you are correct because you get respect from you self. You get nothing from me.

McCallum - W 49 (KO's 36) TF 55 - W pct 89% - KO pct 65% - wins over A. Kalule, M. McCrory, D. Curry and Toney - KO'ed by none - #87 ranked puncher - #79 ranked fighter
Probably the greatest Jr. Middle wt of all-time

Norris - W 47 (KO's 31) TF 56 - W pct 89% - KO pct 65% - wins over J.Mugabi, Leonard, D. Curry and M. Taylor - KO'ed by J. Jackson, S. Brown and 2 other champions (non-descript)
He loss twice to L. Santana on DQ's.

""The Body Snatcher", McCallum would eventually wear down Norris and KO him in 12 rds.
