Is there going to be a replacement anytime soon? The 350Z has been around for a while now (almost 5 years) and other Nissan VQ35DE cars have been replaced or refreshed since then.

There is serious consideration to replace the 350Z by Nissan. But they may keep it and add a new sports cars to their line up like this:

GT-R: Much to the chagrin of Infiniti dealers, the upcoming all-wheel-drive GT-R performance car will be badged as a Nissan. The next-generation GT-R is expected to go on sale in the United States as a 2008 model. The sticker price is expected to be about $60,000.

Infiniti dealers desperately wanted the GT-R as a halo for the brand.

Watch out for the new Skyline GTR. Nissan often had a dilemma with their top sports cars (about which one really was top dog...). The ZX series has run since the 70s.

These have always 'looked' sporty and done an admirable job compared to other manufacturers. But the real daddy has always been the Skyline which out-performed each ZX and did it in comfort often with 4 doors!

GTR Skyline is being released to Nissan some time next year. The Z will get fresnened up before it is replaced in two or three years from now.

technically no. keep in mind they killed it off for awhile severael years ago. this rebirth is the next gen Z. eventually it will be upgraded and tinkered with until it gets to the 450Z or 550Z or something like that.

They are playing the 450z as said above, and I hear that they are planning for the 350zx (Twin Turbo), I can't wait to see them. :)
