My boyfriends Uncle wants to sale his car ,and I have been looking for a car for a month now. The car is a 1995 white 4 door Dodge Neon with 102,000 miles. The AC does not work ,but that can be fixed. I saved up $1,000.00 ,but I dont think it's worth that much. How much you think the car should be worth?

Once a car's odometer passes 100,000 the value drops significantly.
Dodge isn't known for their reliability.
I personally probably wouldn't buy it but if you like it, it might be right for you. You can always discuss your concerns with the seller and try to talk them down. The final price should be based on the fair value of the car - not how much you have in your pocket.

Look up "Kelly's Blue Book" on the Internet. This will let you select what type of car it is and what options the car has, then it will give you a wholesale value, and a retail value, and a dealers value. Pick the middle price and this should be fairly representative.

OK per kbb.com in IL region the car is worth:
excellent condition: 1500
good: 1290
fair: 930
poor: n/a
since a/c don't work car is worth $500, you may want to get an est on fixing a/c. i wouldn't buy the car if i were you.

I would say about $750, being the AC dosent work. could be more if it is in REALLY good shape, could be lees if it is worn out.

well, going by all the available data i would say about $9000.00
