That may be their teaching, but it is not correct. When we die, we go to sleep in death and our spirits return to the Father. At Christs second coming we will be resurrected to life in new bodies for a period to include the 1000 year reign of Christ on Earth. After his reign is complete there will be a day of final judgement for all who have ever lived. Some to a judgement of eternal life with God, and some to a judgement of Eternal separation from God. This final judgement of the wicked is called the "2nd death" or the "lake of fire." We will never become gods.

I have never heard of this. It is a good question as far as what we do.
The bible says the meek shall inherit the earth and th e meek will blow it every time so there goes the planet.
One question I often wonder is people who swear they will live eternity with their wife or husband and than remarry right after her/his death promising the same to the new spouse.
So what happens in heaven when all of them get there and their rush to be with the ones they loved in life? which married partner will you spend eternity with? What if he/she loves the one already dead more? kind of screwed up isn't it. Mormons are a family related religion but recently in ther attempts to modernize. reach out ot new converts have lessened their strength. They have always been a religious group who favored and enacted self determination and family values withthe family being a produtive unit free from the need for handouts. Now many of their churches (especially in the South, and outside the country are over run with those who see notindependence from proverty thu hard work but thought handouts. and federal state funded programs of give aways rather than production and family values thu hard work.
Many Mormons are disatified with the direction their church has take and sek change outside the church.

mormons are The Lost and Deceived of Satan(LDS)... They will never gain what they seek. They will receive the same fate as all others who reject God. The LDS are not of The Christian Faith
All who come to God in The Way He proscribes will receive His free gift of Salvation and become one of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. At the end of this mortal existance ALL of The Church will enter Heaven.
I accept honest email questions concerning the basics of The Christian Faith.

When you die
that's it
game more
Nobody can die and come back to life to explain where they went.
therefore nobody should sit there and tell you what to believe in or whats going to happen.

I believe you go to a place where there are 72 sexually active beautiful women. Oh, and a Ben and Jerry's store with everything free. Women and ice cream, what else is there?

absolutely not. The bible teaches that you either go to heaven or hell when you die, depending on your relationship or lack with Jesus Christ.
