I once woke up bloody from the knees down because my girlfriend had clipped her toenails and left a particularly sharp edge on one of them.
Since then we do 'pedi checks' to make sure I won't bleed out in my sleep. :-)

No, but I'm a little afraid it will happen to me... My boyfriend sleepwalks; he hasn't actually gotten up out of bed and walked around for several years, but his dreams are sometimes very active. Someday I'm afraid he's going to dream that someone is attacking him and fight back! I had to go sleep in the living room once because his sleepwalking was manifesting as a shouting match with someone (about racecars, no less...)

at least once a week I end up getting so violent in my sleep that my boyfriend has to try waking me up 'cause I've hurt him a couple of times. Problem is, that I'm a heavy sleeper and I freak out when he wakes me up-I end up hitting him because he's scared me so much before! But that's one of the ways I know he loves me...he's only had to sleep on the couch (and, of course, it was because of that!) once in the almost-2 years that we've lived together!

An ex-boyfriend used to dream he was fighting his father and strike out in his sleep. He hit me a couple of times...minor bruises on my arm, nothing big. But his weird father issues ended the relationship. No one flings fists at me in bed now!

I took a cast to the eye when i was sleeping, didn't sleep long after that. Moral if this story, lock your bedroom door to keep the kids out.

no. but one time i had a dream that i was about to get into a fight and woke up just as i was punching a hole in the wall next to my bed... needless to say, i've moved the bed to the center of the room.
