Well frontline worked for my dogs. It really depends on your dog. I had one Jack russel that did really well on advantix, but the one I have now does better on Frontline. It honestly comes down to what works the best for your dog. If you can't tell the difference on your dog it comes down to your personal preferrence. And it isn't that good of an idea to switch from advantix one month to Frontline the next. It can cause you wonderful pal to get a skin irratation. Also another tid bit it also is better to put it on before you give your pal a bath because the oil in its skin will help spread it all over the body.Plus if you put it on after a bath it can cause skin irratation! I hope that helps!

Advantix is advantage with something that is supposed to repel mosquitos but it doesn't work so don't waste your money. Frontline and Advantage are both good products. It's a good idea to switch back and forth each time you buy it because the fleas will develop a resistance. I was using frontline at the beginning of summer and had to go to advantage. Frontline is labeled to last 3 months for fleas and also prevents ticks from detaching for a month where advantage is only labeled for one month for fleas only. If you have a problem with ticks or take your dog hiking then use frontline. Otherwise either one and rotate like I said.

Frontline

Frontline is more effective and lasts longer overall. Advantix claims to repel certain insects (mosquitos, etc)...this wears off after 1 week. Frontline may allow the pests onto your pet, but it is much more effective at killing them!

I've only ever used Frontline and it's worked every time with the exception of this last time when I put it on him 2 weeks ago. For some reason, fleas are collecting around his tail only.

Frontline does NOT work. I've tried it twice from the vet. Frontline makers & vets will NOT stand behind the product either. So no refund or even admission of guilt. Told me I put it on wrong!

fornt line is the best, i trust it with my daughters dog, but honestly they both work just as hard and usually frontline last longer , just depends if you use it right, make sure you read the boxes, and most of all if this does not help, ask a vet, let him suggest which one he would recommend, especaily if you have a certain small breeds of dogs, it could be harmful, good luck deciding
