A friend of mine is going to be deployed to Iraq, I want to send him something in order to warm up his heart. But I have no idea what the boys need there, I am completely stranger to military world and I can not figure out how life could be in Iraq for a military. So can anybody help me ?

My boyfrined is in iraq and has been for 13 months now. he tells me that just getting letters from me and his family makes him feel better. and when i do send him packages i send thigns that have meaning, things that go along with inside jokes. like he and i where talking about how they should have a "national giant robot day" so on the day we desided it should be on i sent him a package with a robot that i made out of vynal fabric and buttons.. im sure you have heard it before.. but "its the little things that mean the most"

a ticket home!! maybe some sexy pictures, a pair of painties, anything to remind him of you and home. i am sure home made cookies or brownies but not sure how well they would travel. mainly something to let him know you still love him and are thinking of him and still loyal. couldnt imagine what it would be like to be away from g/f like that!
