Even if the individual who's blood is on the Shroud of Turin were cloned, it wouldn't be Jesus. The blood on the Shroud is from the 14th century.

I'm catholic and these questions can simply answered by any Catholic...

Mary has no other Son! Jesus is the only Son of God and if you watched "The DaVici Code" saying that Mary Magdaline and Jesus were married and had descendants, then Jesus wouldn't be Part God but just a plain man...believe what yoy want to believe, i say it's FAKE!

also, your research on the DNA thing...it's just a rumor...not real...

The power to walk on water is passed in a recessive allele. Both parents would need to pass it on for the child to be able to do it. As such, Jesus the Second will need swimming lessons.

LOL I've thought of that possibility when the shroud first gained attention. I think it would be cool to clone whoever that was and see if they were special in any way.

Scientifically, you should know that a clone doesn't mean it's the same exact person because of the whole nurture issue (being raised 2000 years later, in a lab, is a drastic change of nurture), and it would be second person, not Christ, (which means the anointed one BTW - just one - that's all we get).
