Depends on the age. When I was between 12-15 when a boy asked me out, it was to be boyfriend/girlfriend, anything after 16 is asking for a date.

it only means gf in high school after school it usually means on a date to c what u r like. guys normally dont ask u 2 b their gf. after ya'll go out on dates alot then it just falls into place.

It depends on how old you are. If you are a teenager and in school, it probably means he wants to be your boyfriend. If you are an adult, it means he wants to go on a date...LOL
