Just be yourself, dont be nervous. I remember when I was in high school, and now that I look at how I remember myself to be, I know that I wouldnt have been as intimidated as I was. It's not worth it. Just smile, and dont listen to the ones that tell you the swimming pool is on the roof. Make new friends and stay in contact with the ones you know. However, dont be afraid to make friends in other grades. Most of my friends are older than me, or, were older than me when I was in high school. I am now a recent college graduate from a huge university. I was shy in high school and now I am anything but shy. But I can tell you from experience dont be shy. It's not worth it. Have fun.

First of all, high school isn't as bad as most people say. Just do the work and don't start any trouble with anyone. High school is a breeze and can be fun. Don't let the little things bring you down. For right now, you can drink some hot tea, take a nice shower, and watch a good movie. Don't let yourself think about high school too much. It would also be a good idea to make sure you have everything ready (supplies, outfits, summer reading) so you'll have less to worry about. Good luck and have fun frosh!

-and if your high school is like mine, the freshman hell week is NOTHING! I didn't even get F-ed.-

It depends what kind of nervousness you're talking about. Is it just the pre-high school jitters or some kind of a social phobia/panic disorder? If the latter, this probably isn't the place to find answers. But if you're just a little worried like most kids are before entering high school, the best you can do is just try to relax and get through the first day. There's no magical cure for the everyday anxieties we all face - you just gotta get through it. In my experience, it's not as bad as you think.

Look on high school like any other new endeavor. You will meet new friends, gain new experiences, and learn more about yourself and the world. Try and immerse yourself in studying hard, and being involved in all that you can. Do your best and enjoy. This can be some of the happiest times of your life, after all you don't yet have the responsibility of having a full time job, paying rent, buying a car, or raising a family.

Don't feel bad, everyone is a little nervous. Just look at it like this. It's not like you'll be alone. You will have your junior high friends there with you. Try talking to them. It may make you feel better. Then you may not feel so alone. Try not to worry about it very much. If you keep worrying, that will just cause stress Don't look ahead so much, just take it one step at a time.

Everyone is nervous about beginning something new. I just started undergraduate school and I'm very nervous. I mean I don't know if I will be able to do the work. I don't know if my instructors will like me as well as my peers. As long as you know who you are and what you are capable of. Stand proudly. Go to school to get your education and move on.

surely, do merely no longer worry! severe college develop into an excellent time for me, and it does not could desire to be frightening. that's no diverse than center college. the only ingredient i could propose, however, is that grades will unexpectedly start to count number. study greater and artwork on doing nicely. this could help you to get right into a solid college (if it relatively is the path you have chose) and get scholarships. i do no longer pay a penny to bypass to college because of the fact of how nicely I did in severe college (granted I even have some loans, yet you recognize ;)).

Don't worry about it sweety...trust me, you're not the only nervous person (everyone is). I know you will probably feel like you're going to get lost on the campus, but after a while it will be like home, and you'll know everything there is to know about your school.

Ask yourself, why you are nervous. If you develop a fear of what people think about you now you will be miserable the rest of your life. Be yourself, and have a purpose.
