Today the Iraqi Army stood by as looters gutted a British base one day after the camp was turned over to them to serve as a training base. They watched as the camp was stripped of everything .. doors, windows, wooden planks, corrugated roofing and metal pipes became loot. The base had been under almost daily attacks until those 1,200 British troops left on Thurday.

To protect the president’s divine mission the military is under pressure not to disclose that our troops are being murdered by the very Iraqi troops they are under orders to arm and train. Its an unforgivable betrayal to years later learn that their loved ones were killed by the very Iraqi soldiers they were training. Having been caught several times lying to surviving family members the Army is now being forced to review its own reports.

How can our military families properly grieve their losses if neo-con leaders are allowed to dishonor the supreme sacrifice of their children with self-serving neoconservative lies?

Sadly, no.

We still don't know what was really going on behind the scenes in 'Nam, even the guys that were there. Sure, some of it got out--just enough to satisfy folks that there wasn't a total cover-up.

It will be the same here. Enough expendables will get fed to the big bad media wolves that the true War Criminals can go on living off the public teat, or at least get pardoned on Dumbya's last day, which is a time-honored family pattern, passed down from Poppa to Boy George...

...and in the meantime, our kids are dying and every day is a 9/11 for Iraq. Sounds like a really smart way to end terrorism to me, kinda like another one of Bush's typically brilliant shortcuts to thinking.

At least the munitions makers and offense contractors are having some record sales years, just like 'Nam... and eventually all those bucks will trickle down to us...

Every soldier I have talked to have said Iraqi soldiers are very dedicated to the cause and far more brutal on insurgents than U.S. troops. That being said, it is conceivable that a few insurgents were able to sneak in to the Iraqi army.

Generally speaking, it has been repeatedly quoted: "War is hell!" There are many horror stories that occur. Some are made public, some are never made public. Congress approved of this course of action, so here we are. To run away from a situation that we created is not the best course of action. However, we could make a change the way we are going about it.

In regards to the specifics of your question; Do you have a link or any proof of your allegations?

We (The American Voting Public) will never know the complete truth about Operation Iraqi Freedom. Of course, we still don't know the complete truth about Vietnam, Korea, WWII, WWI...

Military families can properly grieve their losses regardless if they were killed by the Iraqi's they were training, by friendly fire, or by an IED. It's tough not knowing the exact circumstances of your loved one's death, but that doesn't mean you can't greive.

And I seem to recall the vote going into Iraq being 100-0 in the Senate, and 434-1 in the House (or something along those lines). So it was pretty much a concensus to go in. Now we're there, you can't exactly throw up your hands and say, "Oops, this isn't going right, let's leave now." We have a duty to give the Iraqi's a chance at a democracy, if they fail then it's not America's fault.

I can see another Saddam in the mix when we are gone. They will need one to control the terrorist who will infest the country. If we leave within the next two to three years (which I doubt), the terrorist organizations will destroy the Iraqi Government. The death squads on both sides are ruthless so what makes us think it will get better. We are in some deep caca..., so we are going to have to stay as long as it takes. To late to turn back now..., the men and woman of our military will have to make the sacrifice, myself included, but it will not be in vein. Our forces are really protecting us from terrorist cells that would over run this country and have a nice control room to attack us. So we can't leave just yet....and I don't see it coming soon either.

There are many things the public may never know the truth about. Supposedly there are materials on JFK's death due out in 2056 - but they may be eaten by bugs by then. There's supposed to be stuff on Papa Bush on an island in the Pacific that has shelter sunsets and that's why Baker & Co. worked so hard to ensure Shrub got in in 2000. The biggest wonder in marketing is how a poor man is convinced to vote republican. Some go on about Area 51.

Probably because of the great books that have already been written and published. The lasted actual accounts, dates, names and places are spelled out in a book entitled "FIASCO" by Thomas E. Ricks who is the author of "Making of the Corps" and won the Pulitzer Prize.
Four Star General Zinni was still active in the Corps although he had retired for the Marine Corps, he had knowlegde of all the intelligence and war plans that existed in the Military at the time of the begining of the formulation of Bush's invasion plans. Zinni saw none of the intellegence that was being spouted by Cheney, Rumsfelt, C. Rice and Bush, none.
The truth is already out.

Wow. I can never thank you enough. Your enlightened revelation of what is happening in Iraq has really opened my eyes.
This Yahoo answer thing can be interesting reading and even helpful in some subject areas, but it is too often abused by people who have agendas, don't look at or know or check facts, and spew their biased crap (which is fine but don't present it as fact unless it is well documented and supported by multiple reliable sources).
If people can do this and reason together, there will be more unity on issues and overall. Afterall, the virtues of diversity are way overblown. In my humble opinion, unity should be sought far more than diversity.

'How can our military families properly grieve their losses if neo-con leaders are allowed to dishonor the supreme sacrifice of their children with self-serving neoconservative lies? '

You have to know everything concerning their death and who killed them and who their leaders were and what they believed in order to grieve?
What you say is very arguable at best.
