Breaking up with someone you really cared about is hard. I understand your feelings, because I have felt that way before. One of the best ways to get over someone is to give yourself some time. After a while the hurt will lessen, and you will begin to realize how great you are, just being you!

Keep yourself busy with hobbies, friends and family. And give yourself a break! Hurt takes time to heal, but you will overcome it, and you WILL meet somebody else when you are ready. And he will be even better than the last boyfriend. Trust me.

Hang out with your girls 24/7. Work out, find new some hobbies/activities you can do to keep yourself busy. Go on double dates with friends. Ask some of your friends who have boyfriends to hook you up. Go shopping, get a make over so he feels like Crap when he See's how hot you are and forget about the loser cause you can do so much better.

Here's what might appear to be a couple of odd suggestions, but they have never been known to fail. According to T. H. White, writing in "The Once and Future King," the best thing to do when you are sad is to learn something. Anything will do. A musical instrument, a new language, how to bake a cake. It's amazing how well that works. Another idea is to find someone who needs your help with something and to go ahead and help. Most of what we do when we are sad and disappointed is to think about ourselves. To learn something new or to help someone else gets our mind off ourselves and onto other topics.

You need lots of distraction right now. Hard to do anything when everything is so reminiscent of him, but you got to get on with your life. The sooner you make up your mind and tell yourself you'll be okay, the quicker the pain will subside. Go out on other dates. Don't look for anything serious. Just something fun and something to keep you occupied.

Hang in there and good luck. We've all been there.

Allow yourself to mourn the loss of the relationship, give it a week or so, then get active, get busy, move on with your life. Life is too short to spend it reliving the past and carrying the baggage of regret all over the place. Time will heal your loss, and of the billions of people on the planet, another will come into your life when the time is right.

Y did you brake up with him? If it was for good reason, it was fine to do so. And id bet my life on the fact that he wasn't the only one who could love you. I no i don't know you, but I have seen some of the ugliest, dumbest, most obnoxious people find love. Besides there is always more than one soul mate in a life time.

You have had a lot of good advice given here, so let me suggest flower remedy called "Bleeding Heart". It comes in a little dropper bottle. You can put it directly under your tongue, or dilute it in purified water. Call around to your local health food stores, or if you know of a naturopathic doctor they can get it for you, too. It is inexpensive, highly effective and you cannot take too much! It works, really.

You will get over him. Just take it one day at a tme and each day it will get a little easier. There are truly many more fish in the sea but it's ok to wait a while before you go fishing again.

It takes time. Surround yourself with friends and family who love you. Sometimes the best thing to do is love yourself. Love yourself enough to know that you don't need a man to be happy, then you can truely be happy. Good luck.
