I think this is the only fight Bernard Hopkins would come out of retirement for...and with good reason. I dont believe Roy Jones will ever gain the luster he had coming up. Not taking anything away from him, I dont see him being able to light the fire that got him to set himself apart as one of boxings elite. Hopkins on the other hand has been on the grind his whole career and went out in grand style. Hopkins takes that one unanimous decision. Roy Jones is pretty much one-dimensional and I dont think it would fool Bernard.

They fought on 05-22- 1993. Roy Jones Jr. won by Unanimous Decision. 112-16 for Jones. jr. That was not that exciting a fight to watch. Hopkins was then an "amateur" and hasn't reached his peak yet when they fought. If they fought again, I'd go with Bernard Hopkins.

I don't believe that Roy Jones Jr is the same fighter that fought Hopkins before. His skills are just not the same and he can't seem to be able to avoid or take a punch like before. Meanwhile I believe that Hopkins is as good or better than ever. I believe that Hopkins would win the rematch by decision.

no longer the followers it extremely is for optimistic. If Roy hadn't been knocked out interior the 1st around with eco-friendly. it'd have been a compelling adventure up. Now you may desire to getting older warring parties combating on the MB for what no longer something. Hopkins already proved he's an all time great same for Roy. yet, this in basic terms discredits boxing in the form of excellent form of procedures. Why because of the fact Roy has no enterprise head lining a card.
