Yes. When I was very young, I accepted Christ into my life. Then a wave of tragedy hit me as my aunt died, my mom had a miscarriage, and my parents got a divorce almost all at the same time. My dad was an alcoholic-drug addict, and he cheated on my mom. At first I couldn't understand why God gave me THIS family, this life. I felt like an outcast at school because I was overweight, and sometimes became very angry at God. Yet I knew that all things happened for a reason, and that even in the hard times, we need to rely on God.

Chaos and tragedy remind us that, by ourselves, we really can't survive! You'll find that your best day without God in your life is much worse than your most horrible day with God in your life. It is often that humans become frustrated because they don't understand God's motives; why He would let bad things happen to good people. Yet if we DID understand God completely, then that would mean that humans, in a sad attempt to find something to live for, made Him up. The fact that we don't understand God PROVES He exists.

My story does not end in sadness, however. I have been able to help dozens of people who have experienced or ARE experiencing the same thing I experienced. He took me out of that situation to prevent my father from possibly abusing my mother and I. I also may have gotten into drugs and alcohol at a young age if it had still been available to me. GOD SAVED MY LIFE, and I don't regret a second of it.

It was October 28 at church one Sunday morning. the preacher was preaching, if you died right now, do you know you would go to Heaven. They gave the invitation. I started crying. God was speaking to my heart. I then heard a voice say, don"t go up there in front of all them people. You have plenty of time. It was like the hand of God pulled me to the altar. I then asked Jesus into my heart. I am so glad i did not listen to the devil. I thank God for saving me. I love Him, and He is so good to me. I put my Faith, and Trust in Him.
