I would guess that this is a JC Penny Mastercard rewards card. You proably get more points if you use it at JC Penney but you can use it anywhere mastercard is accepted. A good way to know in the future is that mastercard numbers are 16 digits long and start with a 5, Visa starts with a 4 and Amex starts with a 3. Store cards have a different set up of account #'s on their cards, pull your wallet out and check for yourself, I have a few and it is kind of interesting how each place has a different format. I have the card and like the discounts. I don't keep a running balance because of the APR. If you are trying to build credit or rebuild credit, it's always helpful to have a charge card. Just don't let the balance go for too long.

Anywhere, but you might not like the interest rate they charge. Pay off the bill every month and keep the reward points.
