I know this guy who has been is a serious relationship for a long time with this girl. they have sex very often and they seem to click on other levels as well, yet he is always on the look out for a chance to cheat on his girlfriend. why isnt he satisfied with what he has?? he is not the only one either, my boyfriend has a couple more friends who are just like that. What i want to know is why guys dont break up with their girlfriends and go find some other girl whom they really like, i mean why cheat????

I think it is security that makes people cheat instead of ending it. They found a stable person... but some sexual needs aren't being met. So they go out and get it, but they still have their stable partner at home.... sometimes, this is called swinging if both partners agree to it (otherwise, it is straight up cheating). Some men have the "leader of the pack" syndrome and feel like they have to spread themselves around (like the alpha male lion). Those are the men to stay away from. Some women are like this too.

Because you never know how long a replacement will take. He can still fall back on the reliable stuff. It's a male thing. There's a study where a bull would stud a cow, then the next day he wouldn't bother a repeat - unless there's a new cow. There's a whole branch of art/knowledge concerning more interesting and varied sex with the same partner. A good reason not to refuse trying new positions and entrances. However, the new cow study said putting new cow scent on the old cow didn't work, so there may always be a degree of cheating. But remember, women want men to be honest until they find out what we're really like.

Because it takes a real man to do the right thing and cheaters are not real men. Only a selfish coward would cheat rather than break up with the person they claim to care so much about. In the long run a heart is going to be broken regardless. A real man would leave their woman with not only a broken heart, but have respect enough the leave her with some dignity and self respect as well.

This is scary because I know why and I am a woman. Men like p u s s y. Assorted variety of p u s s y. They want someone at home to take care of the kids, laundry, shopping, handy sex and yes, they may even love the home female BUT they want p u s s y. It is a game between the men, to get some and talk about it. It is a game with themselves, an adventure, a quest. They want to keep the home female and will say anything if caught playing their game.
Not all men are like this but most are. Better keep an eye on your guy as his friends?...birds of a feather flock together.

Because men basically want their cake & eat it too. This goes for married men also. I could never understand. If you are that unhappy with what you have, why not just end it and then find something better. Why hurt this other person so much when it is avoidable? Men are basically pigs. If I were you I'd tell the girl before she married the loser........wouldn't you want to know???

Because they have nothing else better to do.
Another point that has been brought up on TV is those who do cheat - continue due to the excitement or thrill of doing it - as long as they are not caught. After they are caught - then they will either try to mend the relationship or end it.

A lot of people are afraid of being alone.
They measure their own status by the person they hang out with.
But they are constantly looking for a better partner becuse in their minds it will make them better.
This isn't restricted to men, women do it as well.
It's basically the reason I would never date anyone who has never been alone for a period. You can never trust whether they like you or whether they are just needy.

because there guys and they want more than one girl they want as many as they can get and they may like there girlfriend a lot and just not like the sex and cheat on her with another girl

gives them the thrill of knowing they can have anyone and get away with it, or some do it as a last chance, they know things are going well in the relastionship and want it to continue and go furthur but want that one last chance at freedom...think of it as a "bachelor party"

Because he's a skeeze. He likes having the bext of both worlds... and if your bf is hanging out with cheaters, I'd keep an eye on him.
