i was late for work, so i was speeding. the officier said if i could get your phone number maybe i would forget the ticket.dinner was great. still dating.

It wasn't a speeding ticket; paper tag blew off the back of the moped, so I was pulled over for not displaying it (and it had expired a couple days ago!). Started babbling at the officer in broken German (just a bit from school), then switched to heavily accented English.
Convinced him I was afraid that this would mess up my chances at citizenship because of criminal acts! (Blush---OK, I was young and we didn't have the money for the fine, but it was wrong to do.)
Good thing he didn't speak German & I got the tags fixed in a couple days.

I gave her a bunch of flowers and said i was so sorry but i was proposing and would be late .She asked were the flowers meant for my other half and i said yes but i could get some more and she let me off.She kept the bloody flowers tho they cost me 40 quid..After i heard the speeding fine was only 30 quid and i wasn't even proposing the flowers were for my nan who just got out of hospital.

Opted for a ticket for not wearing a seat belt instead.

told him the truck was my then boyfriends and the spedometer didn't work. which was sortta true, the neddle jumped around a bit. the reason i dropped my boyfriends name was because he was a firefighter in that town and i fiquired they would know each other. it worked!

told him I was sick and heading for home...he let me go.
a co-worker told me her husband was speeding and when caught he said his wife was pregnant and he was rushing to the hospital. She was not pregnant, she was just fat. He got away with it.

i told the cop i was speedin to get home b/c i was late getting home and my dad was gonna kill me. i think he sympathized and told me to slow down so i "arrive alive." what i told him was true though....
