I've heard of common causes of sleep paralysis but I'm not sure if this has something to do with this case because a while back a few days ago I was really tired so I had laid on the right side of my body and fell asleep, thinking that I was still awake I had this feeling where I couldn't move or speak I then felt this hard numbing feeling in my legs. Though I heard that when having sleep paralysis can make you have a plunging chest pain but I didn't have that just the rest only. This sometimes happens when I'm having the first minutes of sleep.

Yes. This is part of sleep paralysis. When you are about to go to sleep your body releases a chemical that somewhat paralyses you, otherwise you'd probably move quite violently in your sleep, but sometimes the brain "wakes up" before the chemical has worn off or is still "awake" as it is taking over, thus, you get the sensation of wanting to move or speak, but are unable.

The chest pressure is a traditional symptom, but not everone experiences it. I usually don't. Anyway, it sounds like you had your first experience with sleep paralysis. Disturbing, huh? If it helps any, experts believe it occurs less frequently if you sleep on your stomach.

Just as a note, I only experience the chest pressure when I try to speak or yell, and I only try to speak or yell when I'm having hallucinations. If I know I'm having an episode, I just try to ride it out.

It's not sleep paralysis. It's satin and his demons holding you down believe me. This happens to me to VERY OFTEN! My eyes be half open and half shut to were i see a little. Just call Jehovha's name and he will protect you. You then will be able to move again and speak. When this happens to me It is hard for me to breath as well beacuse it feels like someone or thing is crushing me. Just call Jehovha's name and say a little prair to him asking him to help you. He will help you. I know it sounds dumb but try it and you will see the difference. Please. You never know until you try. After a while you wont have that problem anymore. Believe me. If you want to know more about anything just e-mail me.
