There are Good and Holly Catholic Priests.

However, there are some Bad Catholic Priests who either are mistaken or who are trying to confuse Catholics with the wrong teaching.

As Catholics we have a hierarchy of Church Structure. Our Pope is a Good and Holy Man.

You might not agree with all he says if you want your own way. However the Pope is not God and the Pope does not make up the Rules. Also most things about our faith are not changeable. A pope cannot decide that women can be priests. Never. No Way. You can ask, beg or cry, or form a band of idiots to make noise.

Understand that as a Catholic, we know what our beliefs are called to be.

So Who is interpreting the Bible for the Little Church On the Corner? The Pastor.
And who is over him? God.
And if your pastor is Mistaken or Self-serving or Evil. Then what do you believe?

No Matter how convincingly someone shouts or thumps on their Bible, If what they say is not the truth, by error or design, Their words and worship are empty.

Listen for the TRUTH.
Here is the Catechism of the Catholic Church on the Vatican Website. http://www.vatican.va/archive/catechism/ccc_toc.htm

http://www.vatican.va
You can enter on this website what language you prefer to read in. This contains recent homilies and writings of the pope. Also historic homilies and writings.

Where can I find out what the Little Church on the Corner Believes? Were there any paedophiles running these churches? You probably wouldn't know. Their just not a visual.

God Bless You, ;-)

I think they are pawns of satan, as in they are being used, fooled, and bamboozled into and under the control of the Catholic church. They are mere men. They do not possess the powers of God.
The whore of babylon is not nonsense. It is in the book of Revelations. It reveals what is to come in the last days of man. I agree with one person who said some Protestants will go down with the Catholics on the day of Judgement, because even though the Protestants came out of the Catholic church, some still held on to its teachings, and continue to lead many people to their destruction.
You should read the book of Revelations. It explains, in great detail, what is going on right now in the Catholic church. The colors, the sacraments, the seven hills, which by the way describes the vatican. This is why the Roman Catholic church is described as the whore of babylon. It's also the only church that calls itself mother. The bible says come out of her, my people.

Its a close call. One time I heard a sermon where the priest used the Lord's name in vain every other sentance. It made my spine cringe to hear my sacred God's name used in such a manner. He was an Irish priest so maybe he didn't know what he was saying but... I'm not holding it against the priest nor the Catholics, it is just proof to me how far away from the truth they really are. God didn't write the 10 commandments for nothing did he? A man of God should obey at the very least and live the 10 commandments even to the letter of the law on that one.

Some of both actually. The whore of Babylon is the Papacy. Who else claims to be God on Earth, to be able to forgive sin, to be infallible, that has the whole world wandering after it? Read your bible and you will see it is in the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation and look at your history and you will find it is the one that came up at the time the bible said it would, became so strong and then was taken down for a time only to be renewed and go back the previous strength, which it is gaining right now.

Some are men of God and some not. The ones that mess around with kids are pawns of Satan for sure.

The Whore of Babylon is supposed to be the end-time church of the false prophet, which will have both Protestant and Catholic members.

I think Catholic Priest are people occupying offices in a religious order. Not men of God as Catholicism is a religion of men.

As for your second question.

Mystery Babylon is in the Book, the Bible, go and read all about it.><>

Catholic priests would not be so bad if they were allowed to have sex with women. The whole celebacy thing was started as a form of control. When you take away something that is a basic human need you have complete control over that person. We are biologically programmed from birth to need and want sex and not getting it makes people do crazy things. There is nothing wrong with sex, because we are naturally programmed to do it. If the Catholic church had recognized this a long time ago, how many innocent boys out there wouldn't have had their lives ruined?

Catholic priests, like everyone else, are judged by God on individual merits. Some are godly, some are not.

As for the "whore of babylon," I have no idea what you're talking about.

It is always troubling when seemingly intelligent people choose to generalize issues and include a certain class of people as having a perchant for one thing. The priesthood may be a special job, but it is like any other profession. There are some people who are "called" to their profession and are very dedicated. Then therer are others who lie to themselves and their employer just to make a living. Be honest about that, at least.

They are men of God. Sadly a few bad apples make some people think the whole orchard is bad. I know several priest. One I saw on TV in court. First I cried, then I prayed, not just for him but for all the other priest who people may associate to his behavior.
