It doesn't have any timing marks, or keyways. Hopefully you haven't taken anything apart yet. I always turn #1 cylinder to TDC before I start to take it apart. Ford dealers use a service tool to attach to the crankshaft bolt that shows #1 TDC when the tool contacts the block. There are more service tools to keep the camshafts locked into place so they do not rotate. I usually take some paint and mark my chains to the pulleys, and the pulleys to the cams, before disassembling. I would suggest the services of the dealer to time this engine.

what do you mean timing components? Also what engine? 4.0 OHV,4.0 SOHC, 5.0 v-8?

If it is a SOHC motor, then take it to the dealer. It will be money ahead.
