Newsweek too.
Heh, when you're a fringe extremist you don't give up your beliefs because one person changes. You just find another fringe extremist who says what you like to hear.

Could you please state which cover story you're talking about. "Recent" is too ambiguous.
TIme has previously referred to Billy's interpretation of the Bible as the literal Word of God. God being all-knowing, why would a literal "reading" be incomprehensible?
Billy does, however, seem to be saying some strange things lately, so if you could, give the reference please. Christians ought not to hold any leader infallible.

KJV is the ideal you may desire for in English. although there have continually been diverse variations the KJV is the classic, has stood the try of time and been used of God by revivals and moves of God. Its very foundation changed into an overruling of God for blessing and so it has immensely proved. that's committed to the unique texts, not translated from corrupted texts and the favourite grievance in protecting with unwarranted assumptions. that's closest to the unique and makes use of the most religious language giving a literal translation that facilitates the reader to make your concepts up upon the meaning and knowledge. The Spirit is thereby enabled to steer the reader. maximum present day variations are literally not literal translations and interpret for you so that you do not have any danger to make your concepts up upon the meaning. Who needs to sacrifice accuracy and a non secular language and expression for present day words to make issues 'simple'? What a foul and valueless replace. Any concern for study calls for to study its words and needs software and attempt to receive an information. Why ought to the Bible be any diverse? you won't be able to make it simple in basic terms as you won't be able to study a overseas language by using creating use of simple words nor can it oftentimes be learnt in a week. In all examining and study of the Bible that's of little worth devoid of the enlightenment and quickening of the Spirit of God. that's troublesome to refuse a version that the godly who did have the Spirit did use and were very much blessed of God. The KJV is positively nonetheless the ideal.

No. I don't think that Billy Graham is the source of all knowledge about the Bible. I read the Bible for myself, and I believe in a literal view of the Bible. (except for obvious things such as when Jesus says "I am the Door")

Good for Billy!
Now, hopefully, the bible will be used less frequently to justify the hatred and bigotry that some people - who inappropriately call themselves 'christians' - spew out daily.

Nope, he is not God and does not have all the answers. He makes mistakes like anyone else. He also said that the bible Sabbath is Saturday so why does he still not go on that day when the bible states it is THE day you should worship on? Isn't that going against the written Word?
