I think that is a good plan. Make sure you are careful with the dressing and toppings because they could have a ton of calories. Maybe a meal replacement shake would be good for those days you don't feel like eating another salad! Good luck!

Yes, that diet is ok. You'd be better off eating a really good breakfast though. It is medical fact that eating a good, healthy meal within 1 hour of waking up in the morning speeds up you metabolism. However, walking is not going to do anything. You should try windsor pilates, jogging, bike riding (fast). Stay away from gyms, kickboxing, weight lifting and step aerobics. These build muscle and lose fat, meaning you stay about the same weight. Once you've lost the 20-30 lbs, then pick up one of those to get tone and tight. I don't know how old you are, but Hydroxycut really works. Start with only 1 pill for about 2 wks. Make sure everything is ok then up it 2. Good luck! God Bless!

To lose 20 to 30 pounds in 2 months is quiet a feat but unfortunately it will be unlikely on your plan. You will have to do much more vigorous excercise than walking and do it for much longer period of time. Too often people assume eating salad will help them lose weight. This would be true if people don't add extra calories on top of the salads. Meats, cheese, and dressings really add up the calories quickly.

Yes, absolutely!
Like the others have warned, be careful of your intake of any fat or unnecessary calories.
One thing I encourage you to do...that is, as long as you are successfully losing weight at a good rate, be sure to jump on a scale EVERY day (morning) so you can mentally note that you have LOST weight and that your effort is indeed working.
Doing this will give you the daily incentive you need to make it through another day resisting any temptation to "cheat" since the results will show a "reward" and that your effort is paying off.
Note:
You will lose weight when you force your metabolism to start taking the calories it needs for energy FROM your fat cells rather than from your food INTAKE.
That is, if you exercise and your calorie intake is, say..1000 calories per day (from the diet your are on now) but your body "needs" 2500 calories per day to maintain it's energy level...it will then "take" those required 1500 calories from your fat cells...hence, you lose weight...this is the simple formula and therefore the essence of losing weight.
Good luck!

The only thing I'd worry about with mostly only eating salad is if you're getting all of the nutrients you need. Take a look at RDA requirements for a healthy diet and check and see if you're getting what you need. Also, if needed, if you're not already, a good multi-vitamin might be useful.

Sounds good. But did you know that whether you eat a fruit at the end of a meal or the beginning of a meal determines whether it is good for you or bad for you??? See this site.

Your diet sounds good, but to loose 20 to 30 lbs just by walking isnt going to cut it. Try starting slow on a treadmill if you arent a good runner, the gradually increase the speed. you will probably double the weight you loose by walking alone. But be carefull not to kill yourself the first week. Dont try to run at olympic speed.

Thats good overall, but eating alot of nutrients with few calories isn't good, also try getting some protein. Note: You can get protein from plant foods without much fat Ex. Beans, Almonds( almonds have good fats), bread. Just make sure to eat a wide variety of plant food because they are incomplete proteins and therefore combining them will get you complete proteins. Also, get some low/nonfat dairy foods to get some calcium and protein with little/none fat.

20-30 pounds in 2 months?
If you really want to lose weight buy the book "Body for life" and follow it. It is a great 12 week program that really works. Read it and live by it.
By doing the other thing you are setting yourself up for failure, which will lead to acceptance of failure in your future diets.

Sounds OK, but what is your current BMI? If you are already at a healthy weight, don't lose weight, just try to maintain a good weight by proper eating/exercise. Otherwise, it sounds OK to me. Check with your doc to be sure.
