Try an egg wash. I use 4 eggs and about 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise or margerine. Put on wet hair like shampoo let sit for a 5 or so minutes then rinse out.

First, know that certain hair colors are typically shinier than others. Black and brown are shiniest followed by blondes then redheads.
One thing you can do is make sure your hair is clean by removing build up (gel, hair spray). I've found pouring room temperature beer bubbles out buildup and makes my hair shinier. Someone told me about that when I was a teen. Rinse your hair with beer after washing it, then RINSE the beer out (you don't want to smell like a brewery) - make sure you rinse your hair with water as cold as you can stand it.

One homeley cure is a dozen eggs beaten with regular mud. Works wonders. Leave on at least an hour.

i would recommend finesse styling products because before I had very dull and dry to the touch hair. Every since I started using those products, having shineless hair was a thing of th epast. GL :)

you could rinse your hair with vinegar in the shower or rinse with beer (srsly they make hair healthier and shinier)
or rinse with bottled water (the nutrients keep it shiny)
or you could do a color glaze like jon frieda (it enhances hair tone and shine)
or try a finishing spray for shine (try treseme)

check your diet for essential fatty acids, those are what give your hair a healthy shine....they are found in flax seeds and their oil,as well as fish and the oil of fish.Increase olive oil, nuts and seeds in your diet, and eat plenty of fruits and veggies....try a shine enhancing shampoo as well...or a pre shampoo oil treatment..
