I am very involved in a dog club, and have heard from more than one person that it is common for young children to do just that. Even when there are no dogs involved, kids will sometimes use the great outdoors - it is just easier and quicker and takes up less of the play time to do it where you are at!
I don't think you have to worry, but make sure you praise her each time she does come in to use the potty.

i might start up stunning around 2. 2 is the suitable discovering point. If she trys to hop of try giving her rewards for making use of the potty. Lik ever time she makes use of it wisely she gets a dime and then on the top of the month u can take her buying and he or she can %. out her own little particular toy.sturdy luck!

well it seems she is imitating the dogs if she has seen them. go get the "potty book" and just keep telling her where she is supposed to go. if you see her taking her clothes off, stop her and take her inside. you may have to deal with a temper tantrum but don't give in. she has to use the bathroom inside the house. I am surprise that you at this point have let her use the bathroom outside to pee and poop. and perhaps because you or someone else let her do it the first few times, she feels that it is okay. in order for you to curb this your family and friends will have to comply with your requests! it's not cute.

my daughter does the same thing!!!
i tell her it's ok to pee but not poo. And sometimes my daughter gets so involved in playing that she can't make it to the house, But we live in the country on a 7 acre ranch, so it's ok.
I do give her reward stickers when she can make it to the bathroom.
and my daughter had a bladder infection/so she was peeing outside cause it hurt her, so i would check her.
good luck....................

It's alright if she goes out side but if you want her to go inside maybe reward her when she does. You could give her icecream or gummy snacks if she goes in side. That might help get her to go inside.

No do not leave her alone about it, the appropriate place for her to go to the bathroom is IN the bathroom, she is not a dog.

She must see the three dogs going outside and thinks that's the place to do it!

she is just acting like the dogs. my daughter did a similar thing with the way she ate (face in her food) and she even walked on all fours at one point! She is just mimicking the dog. It will pass.

SINCE 3YR OLDS LIKE TO DO WHATEVER THEY SEE OTHERS DO MAYBE SHE DOES IT BECAUSE SHE SEES THE DOGS DOING IT. I WOULD JUST KEEP ENCOURAGING HER TO USE THE POTTY, MAYBE GIVE HER A SMALL REWARD WHEN SHE DOES LIKE STICKERS OR SOMETHING
