I always feel like I have to clear my throat and have to cough. It is a dry cough however sometimes produce clear phlem (?) Has anybody else had this problem? I almost feel like I always have post-nasal drip.
BTW, I don't smoke and not around anyone who does......

If you feel like you always have post nasal drip, that is the most likely cause, esp. if you do not have fever/chills, green sputum, etc. It would probably be OK to try Claritin/Allegra/etc. to see if it helps, but since I do not know your medical history, I would at least call your doc's office and ask a nurse or someone who can look at your history. These meds can aggravate certain problems like High blood pressure.
Other causes could be ACE inhibitor, Asthma, heart failure (usually would be more symptoms), COPD (even non smokers can get COPD) Of course, your doc could tell you which is the most likely, but these are a few possibilities.

I used to have the same problem, then i switched to a bong instead of papers. Now i no longer have a dry cough and i don't waste as much weed.

You should go and see your doctor to rule out anything serious. The likelyhood is that it is not but I was one of the unlucky ones.
