i came to know this guy from a friend. we've been talking online every night for at least 2 hours for 6 months now. he's been telling me he's in love with me, he's crazy for me, i'm very special and i am everything to him. he invited me to go to his country but he says that i am responsible for the place where i should stay. if i stay near his place, maybe he could come and see me but if i stay far from his place, then that would be difficult for him but he could possibly arrange for a short visit. is this a proper way to treat a girlfriend?

Is this a proper way to treat a girlfriend??? You don't this dude from Adam !!! Why would you even entertain the idea of going to a foreign country to visit a stranger? How old are you?? I swear that the internet is going to be the death of some people...LITERALLY!!
Wake up girl!!

Sounds like there is something up. I personally would have been offended by this. If he's crazy in love with you then why wouldn't you be staying with him? I definitely wouldn't be visiting someone in another country for "a short visit" due to his need for convenience. Be careful honey!

First off, you cannot fall in love with someone you have never met. What you are on here is entirely up to you. He could be a serial killer. You have no way of knowing if the person that you are talking to is what they say they are. Hell if I wanted to I could be George Bush's niece and heiress to the entire Trump fortune. Call me old fashioned but if this guy really wants to meet you it is up to him to earn enough money to come here and meet you in your safety zone. If you go to another country to meet this guy you are just plain stupid. Good luck.

It sounds like he's married, quite frankly. And in some countries, that is perfectly OK - for him to marry even four women at once, and not tell them about each other. So be warned.

Are you for real??? Either you are joking or your one of those girls with no self esteem and no clue on life in general. Try coming back down to Earth....really it's nice here.

why should he set you up when he hasn't met you yet? He is protecting himself so if he doesn't like you, then he can say "hasta la vista baby" and you have a place to stay other than his.
