Depending on how old the cat is nutering him may not be the answer. Per my vet if they are an older animal then nutering will only slow them down or maybe stop them. Its not 100% chance of stopping them from spraying.

My dog sprays every chance he gets. @ least 7 times a day in the house. We have tried everything. Nothing helped.
We finally went to pets mart and bought the cloth diaper. This is the only thing that has stopped him from spraying. The only downfall to this is having to take it off every so often to use the bathroom.

99% of the time Neutering will stop or reduce the spraying greatly. You really should neuter and spay cats at 6 months old. Since he sounds like he is older than 6 months, you have a greater chance that he won't stop spraying, but that's only 1% of male cats. Now this is a learned behavior. Best thing to do, get him neutered ASAP.

Last year my beautiful Manx cat Theodore went out for the evening and never came back. I love cats and the house didn't feel the same without one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She was very frightened and would pee all over the house. I found Cat Spraying No More on the internet and the techniques worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with Lola since. Amazing!

Can't stop your cat peeing in the house? Then worry no more...

Unfortunatly yes, getting your cat neutered is the only answer. Spraying is a natural instinct since they are territorial, and your cat is spraying because of the other cats. Getting the smell out of things takes a lot of cleanig too, so get him in as soon as possible before he ruins everything you own.
The vet has to make sure he gets everything he needs to out, because there is a way to miss parts and the cat only gets his testes removed, which is not what makes him spray. The sack also needs to be removed so make sure and ask the vet about that and explain the problem!
Good luck.

Your only option to stop the spraying is to have him neutered. Spraying is a common practice of cats to "mark" their territory. If your other cats are doing it too, you'll have to consider the same thing for them.

Neuter him!!!! You can call you local ASPCA and they usually do free neutering/spaying in the area. They ask for a donation. Not a lot just what ever you can give.

That spray smell is sooooooo difficult to get out of the floors! I goes beneath the rug to the floor! Use tomato juice to get the smell out.

Your boy cat is in HEAT!! You need to get him FIXED so he doesn't get any girl cats pregnant. He is spraying to protect his territory. So get him nutered before he drives you crazy. Been there done that.

ok yes you need to nueter your male cat! you should have done this a long time ago! this will help him from not spraying anymore but might not be the total answer for you. but it is defently worth a shot isn't it. If he's still young then it might work.
