The tenants of Islam have stated that Jews along with Christians in Muslim countries are protected peoples or "dhimmis" and should not be harmed. However, this same mandate says that they should be regarded as second class citizens until they come to their senses and embrace Islam.
The brutal reality is that there are many Jews who have already been exiled from their countries. People go on and on about the "arab refugee crisis" when Jews were also expelled from many of their native lands in the Middle East with no compensation or right to return.

Before you claim the love and peace in Indonesia, maybe you should go talk to the Hindus living in Bali (only majority non-muslim island in Indonesia). See how tolerant they see Islam. Ask them how tolerant they feel Islam is after the two bombings in Bali have basically destroyed their tourism economy. Ask them how tolerant they feel Islam is when they cannot feed their children as a direct result of the bombings.
I know you are going to come back and say that isn't true Islam, that is only the extremists. Well I say it doesn't matter... Don't preach the peace and love of Islam without evidence and then dismiss the violence in Islam, that there is evidence for.
I am not trying to single out Islam by the way, Christianity and pretty much all organized religions are capable of every kind of atrocious violent act also.
Maybe the problem shouldn't be broken out as a Chrisitan or Muslim one, but instead as a problem with organized religion as a whole.

From 9th grade history, I learned that under Islam, Jews and Christians can live, as second class citizens. There are some Jews in Iran.

Are there any LEFT in Iran? That's why the Islamics and Palastinians kept trying (and are still trying) to push Israel into the sea. It's only through God's protection that they were gathered together from all over the earth and are still a nation and a people throughout all the wars over them.

No it does not! Muslims believe in, respect and value Moses as a prophet. Islam never called for that! If you are implying on the Israeli-Palestinian problem, then you need to get that this is a political problem that is falsely thought by some as a "holy war."

That's not true! Quite the opposite for all Christians & Jews who live in the islamic territory are protected by the Muslim State. The current hatred is being caused by the Zionists Jews who mostly came from Europe occupying Arab Palestine. Arab Palestine had minorities of christians and jews who lived along their muslim compatriots with no issues till early 20th. century. Islam asks its people to fight whoever is fighting them. So during the crusades Muslims fought the crusaders who coame from Europe but they never treated the Christians who lived amonsgt them badly, they even had a christian squadron fighting with the Muslim army under Saladdin. Yet I have to say that there are a lot of ignorant Muslims Extremists who just want to kill anyone who is not like them. Even other muslims who don't agree with them!

Islam is not monolithic (neither is Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity or any other religion I've studied), so there are different interpretations and different beliefs.
