Why would it be bad? In fact, it may help to rehydrate the body and prevent some of a hangover (not all, but some).

The only way I could see it being bad is if you already have the pukes and you drink water and it sets your stomach off again. It's not the water causing the vomiting, but rather ANYthing that's in your stomach.

I try to remember to drink one glass of water for each alcoholic beverage I consume. This slows down your drinking and keeps you hydrated.

Not only is it OK, it is encouraged. Alcohol depletes the water supply in the brain, which is how you get the drunk feeling, also why you loose motor functions and the like. This is why when you are hungover, there is almost always the headache. That is just the brain being depleted of water. Drinking water does not slow or stop the effects of the alcohol initially, however, it will replenish the water supply once the alcohol wears off. Drinking one glass of water per beer or glass of wine will significantly lower the possibilities of a hangover. Water does not usually make people sick, unless of course you are in Mexico. It will however, make you feel better the morning after a night of drinking. Also, it is good to drink high quality beer or wine. The process by which it is made is more refined, and thus the alcohol is cleaner and less likely to cause hangovers. Good luck and good drinking.

Drinking water before, during and after consuming alcohol keeps a person from becoming dehydrated, which will also help the next day with a hangover.

no problem to drink water after drinking beer . The contents in beer is mostly water. When you drink alcohol in general it will make disappear the liquid in you ( it's part of the hangover) so when you drink water , about a liter, after the beer you will have less trouble with you re hangover

first, its never a bad time to drink water

secondly, the only down side to drinking water is that it will dilute the alcohol in your blood, which may not be your objective

finally, as a hangover is the result of dehydration, caused by the consumption of alcohol, the more fluids you can consume, before, during and after consuming alcohol, the less chance of dehydration & of a hangover

it's a great thing - it'll keep you hydrated - alcohol is a diuretic which means it rings the water out of your system - if you have water after every drink or just keep sipping on water during the night while you're drinking, you'll probably never get a hang over

drink a glass of water before you go to bed. It helps because it will rehydrate you. Alcohol dehydrates your body so the water will make you not be nearly as hungover in the morning.
