My Split Level A/C ( L/G Plasma Gold) has a very bad smell comming from it when turned on, whats the reason?

My guesses are:

1) a small animal died in the duct
2) heavy mold build up in the evaporator
3) condensate drain clogged

All of those require professional checkup...

The condensate drain is clogged.
