Is it the healthiest, best tasting oatmeal? Also, I will be using a microwave, not a stove. Does that make any difference?

Old Fashioned Oatmeal from Quaker will be better to cook in the microwave, but if you were to use a stove, a pan of boiling water, and a bit of salt, I recommend the Quaker 1 Minute Oats!! They come out better if you turn off the heat just before boiling and cover them until you are ready to eat....!

depending on what you mean by healthy, Quaker oats are good for you. Oats are high in fiber and can taste good without alot of additions. Steel Cut Irish oats are the healthiest since they have alot more fiber and parts of the oat in them. They take along time to cook and do NOT cook well in the microwave. I would check out the instructions on the sides of the boxes while in the grocery store.
PS. Old Fashioned are better for you the quick oats, but wont cook as well in the microwave. You might want to check out the instant oatmeal, but they are full of sugar and additives

Mcanns, Steel Cut OATS, these are natural and the way oats should be. They take longer but they are worth it.
