well use this as an example me and my friend are both 13 i am 5'6 and my bff is only 4'7 who would run faster
( i dont know if i have long legs or not and she dosent have long legs)

That's not true. It can help, but doesn't make a difference. There are two ways to run faster - one is to take longer strides but at the same tempo that you took your smaller strides, and the other is to stride the same distance, but increase the tempo of your steps. So long legs doesn't really matter. I know short legged runners who are amazing.

Yes I think its true. I'm in cross country and I have long legs and I do pretty good. If you have long legs than you can stride farther.

Well it depends on how tall people run and that includes short people. Either a short or tall person can run faster. YOu could be tall or short to do races. That' s just my opinion though for you.

NOT TRUE. Too many other factors. You can't attribute speed to leg length.

it helps, but not always... The amount of hardwork, training you put in will help you run faster...least of all your gene plays a vital role in fastness
