i was looking at a website on how to become a vegaterian.. and ran into this web site.www.peta.org.. and was reading alot of the articles.. then decided to watch a video.. but it was so horible.. that i cried and couldn't look at meat again..
why are people so cruel..in this world .. i guess its all about money .. no more loving people..

People have degraded to far more inferior than animals themselves. Worse than vultures that they are, as the words go, vultures would do it for their belly but this breed would prey for money.

OK lillypop I understand your point of view but remember groups like PETA show the extreme side of what it takes for society to function ie produce animal based products. I do not agree with anything that PETA stands for. I honestly use to be a card carrier for PETA. I use to stand out in front of the department stores on the Friday after thanksgiving and yell at people of wearing fur coats. NO LONGER. I have seen the true workings of PETA and how they twist the truth and reality to play on the emotions of people. I do not believe in alot of things that certain sections of the corporate machine deal with the use of animals but I also believe that certain goods can come for the animal kingdom. I hope you will be able to see through the media blast that Peta does and do more research on the subject before believing in something. Good luck in your search

There are many things being done about animal cruelty. Don't jump to conclusions without proper research. It takes time to make changes on a large scale and lots of hard work that is being carried out by caring, loving people who are never even noticed because they're not out in the public eye. They're still in the trenches, doing their best to make a difference that will bring change.

I don't think all people are that way alot but not all. It depends on how children are brought up in my opinion. Keep doing what you can and incourage others. Also remember your a vet so when people need help and can't afford to take their animals to the vet set up payment plans alot of people find animals but don't have the money to care for them and do the best they can. I pick up strays all the time and fix them up try to find homes for them some time I have to leave them at shelters where I know they will be distroyed and that saddens me but, I have four dogs and I love them and care for them but like i said many people can't remember that will you fill out a bill.

I find that animal cruelty comes in second to human cruelty - once we get that taken care of more people will turn to fixing the animal cruelty - or do you think, just maybe, by fixing Human Cruelty towards other Humans we will put a halt to cruelty towards animals as well? Something to think about eh?

One video doesn't express the actions of everybody. If you want to help animals, you could volunteer at an animal rescue (also a great place to get a good pet). These take in abused animals and, if I am not mistaken, also get animals from the pound to prevent them from being euthanised.

In your statement you said it was all about money and not loving "people". But your question has to do with not loving animals. Which do you want protected gold fish or well feed babies?
Anyway..........Peta is crazy and most of their tactics borderline on Terrorism. If you want to help go volunteer at your local humane society.
