I believe that Celtic would be a bit more than a mid table team. I think at first they would struggle towards the end of a couple of seasons. However the current Celtic team may have a more difficult time in the english league. It's all theoretical anyway and we all could argue for hours over it. One fact that is true Celtic were the first british team to win the European Cup and they did it with an all Scottish team.

celtic would finish mid table in there 1st season, but with the tv money that helps out
all the other crappy premiership teams. they would eventually after a few seasons be up there chasding the title. just think about how chelsea would be without there money. celtic are a world wide brand with an enormus fan base, so the would be rolling in cash if the got into the premiership.

Yes, they are.
It may take them a few seasons to get used to it after playing in the considerably weaker league that is the SPL.
Thety have huge potential - they get the same amount of people to home games as Man Utd/Liverpool/Chelsea/Arsenal and all the other top sides in England so given the chance (and the same TV money that the English teams get) they would be a force to be reckoned with.
I cannot see it happening though as all the small teams in England would have to vote to make room for Celtic and I can't see that happening.
In the next 10 years or so I can see the advent of a European Super League though.

With the present team-no.However, both they and Rangers given the resources that the Premiership offer would quickly re organise and would become a major force in the League. English people really done seem to understand just how big both these Clubs are and the history behind them.

Without a doubt my friend. Only when the English league stop running scared and realise it will happen and will be good for all concerned, small exception of the 2 teams who will lose out originally.
But if UEFA get there way the Premiership will be downsized anyway..
It's all about the money and it WILL happen...

They are good enough to play in the Premiership but not good enough to win it, yet
Once they had been in for a few years the income and revenue would help them out and they would then be able to compete with the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea, they have 60,000 + gate a week which would put them only 2nd to Man utd and thier fan base outwith that is enormous world wide.
PS im a Hearts fan and yes it pained me to say that

both rangers & celtic are good enough for the premiership but
not good enough to win it ..but at the end of the day the english police dont want them they say there would be to much trouble with rival fans and that means more police required.

Without a doubt Celtic are good enough. With wee Gordon rebuilding the team and with the new signing of Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, nothing can stop the mighty Celtic. Hail! Hail!
