Wasn't there something about god being the "Alpha" and "Omega"? God being the beginning, Jesus the end. A to Z but using the Greek letters, all encompassing, etc, etc.
Perhaps beta_fishy is just carrying on the trend of using the Greek alphabet...alpha, beta, gamma, delta, epsilon....
Wait is he German or of Germanic decent? The letter for the Greek letter 'beta' or β, looks very similar to the glyph for the German letter ß. Most times the German ß it is just substituted with 'ss' because ß may not be available or easily typable in this or other fonts.
If that is the case a more appropriate name for beta_fishy would be ss_fishy
Although now he would have to face ridicule for racism, anti-Semitic names being used on yahoo and being a Nazi.
Not everyone knows the Greek alphabet or the German one for that matter.....so I'd go with intelligence level on this one.

Couldn't tell ya. But this baiting is a real sign of your maturity level. If you want to intellectually debate someone on spirituality, then do so. If you just want to make fun of this name, then grow up.

definite, it bothers me very lots! the way I see it, is that in the event that they "love" the band/musician lots, then why can no longer they spell the call wisely? it somewhat is the comparable for songs. I certainly am so stricken by using pretend-followers, even of bands/musicians/songs i do unlike. i understand each and every physique is pretend-followers basically so they might look "cool", or something, that's the ingredient that bothers me the main.

That's not funny. My betta just died.
You're so insensitive.
Do you think there may be some significance to choosing "beta" over "betta"?

maybe he just prefers to spell it incorrectly or perhaps the correct spelling was already taken and yahoo suggested that and he took it.
