Is she way too Old?

Question

I met a lady in the chatrooms and found out she's 70 years old. The way I found out was she invited me to her house and I met her in person. I don' t mind older women but I figured she was really too old, I'm in mid 30's. She doesn't look that bad but she also isn't that great looking, although looks don't matter to me. Now she's acting funny toward me after I bought her several gifts and treated her good. She won't email me anymore or even respond to me in chat. She's hitting on others now. Some know her age and they leave her alone and some don't and they are going to fall into her trap. I told her the way she treats people she's going to be alone forever. I'm not in love with her but I do love her. How do I get her to speak to me again? She's very stubborn. Someone said I should leave chat for a while and make her wonder and others say no just move on. I can't.

okay...well you have learned rule #1 about dating...you guys out there taking notes?

1. DO NOT shower your girlfriend with gifts! Always put her on an allowance. For instance if you make $500/wk. After groceries and bills for the week you are let's say left with $200. Out of that $200 limit the amount you spend on not to exceed $25. Any more than that you might as well set it on fire and walk away.

You can allow for more expendature on dates if you are getting something out of it. I mean like a meal, movie or whatever.

With that said, unless you are looking for an in on her life insurance policy or will...go find yourself a younger woman and party it up!

thats great that u like her for her heart and not her age. But she must have some money you;re trying to get at. LOL> j/k. but on the real if she is going to be that way then spend your time focusing on someone else who is willing to give u a try. She is probably just intimidated because of your age and not knowing what her family would think of it. You're better off looking for love with someone else that will give u a chance.

Well, the age thing is less of a worry than her deception and sudden change of interest. You don't need a lady treating you poorly. You deserve someone who will treat you with respect reagardless of her age. It could also be that her friends have advised her against dating a man so young. Anyway, you should try to move on to a more healthy relationship for you. good luck!

Get it together Man. You are right here posting the question "Is she way too old", however you seemed to have answered that question all by yourself. First off, age doesn't matter! A number of other factors in your explanation however do matter. Factors like she's a cyber whore. I know you think you care about her but she obviously isn't looking for something serious. Why would you want to stick around with someone like that? I mean unless you're not looking for someone serious either but I don't think that is your current position.

listen to me here. i used to chat in chat rooms alllll the time. and guys would hit on me and chat with me. but i never ever got into a deep relationship with anyone. people in chat rooms are not all there ( if you know what i mean ).
you should be carful. why in the world would be want to be with a 70yr old fart? she used you for gifts and doesnt want a relationship. now she is moving on to another man to get gifts off of him and then dump him like she did with you.
its not your responsability to save other men online. let them learn from their mistakes.
if you hang around chat rooms where that old fart chats then you will never forget about her.

wow well you don't have to worry much at 70 she hasn't got to many years left in her anyway. If you can not move on i would suggest suicide after all your 30 years old and hung up on a 70 year old woman you have some major issues.
