I'm not 100% sure but Scrawndogg25 (first answerer) may be correct except that I believe that the Sioux pronounces their K like a G sound. I know the Mohawk and a few other tribes do that and I think the Sioux do also.

According to the Lakota dialect it is actually Tasunka Witko, pronounced tashúnka uitko. Lakota was what most Oglala Sioux would have spoken as their primary language. (Crazy Horse was Oglala.)
