Ive heard so much about Jesus Christ's return being right around the corner but Ive been studying biblical prophecy and i dont think its as soon as most are making it out to be. People are getting all crazy about the revived roman empire.. but if you study revelation youll realize that each of the 4 ancient empires will be revived in some sense, ( Babylonian, the Medes, Persia, and Alexander the Great’s Empire)... Babylon is Iraq.. last time i checked Iraq was nowhere near a rich flourishing country described in the book of revelations.. Iraq has the potential to be a middle eastern super power but not in the next 10 years at least... maybe 20 years .. maybe 500 years.

to atheists who dont believe biblical prophecy: if in the future you saw the Iraq , that is in shambles, become a middle eastern power and the 3 other empires mentioned in the book of Daniel revived would it (at least )make you think hmm maybe there is some truth to the bible after all .. ?

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came out to people and a man came to him and asked, 'What is iman?' He said, 'Iman is that you believe in Allah, His angels, His Books, the meeting with Him, His Messengers and that you believe in the last rising [from the grave].' He asked, 'Messenger of Allah, what is Islam?' He said, 'Islam is that you worship Allah without associating anything with Him as a partner, establish the obligatory prayer, pay the obligatory zakat and fast Ramadan.' He asked, 'Messenger of Allah, what is ihsan?' He said, 'That you worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you do not see Him then He sees you.' He asked, 'Messenger of Allah, when is the Hour?' He said, 'The one asked about it knows no more than the questioner, but I will tell you about its signs:

when the female slave gives birth to her lord that is one of its signs.

When you see naked barefoot ones becoming the leaders of men, that is one of its signs.

When the shepherds of lambs compete in constructing tall buildings that is one of its signs

[and it, the Hour, is] among five [things] which none know but Allah,' and then the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, recited, 'Truly Allah has knowledge of the Hour and sends down abundant rain and knows what is in the womb. And no self knows what it will earn tomorrow and no self knows in what land it will die. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.' (Surah Luqman: 33). Then the man went away and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, 'Bring the man back to me,' and so they went to try and bring him back but saw nothing. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'This was Jibril who came to teach people their deen.'"

The Prophet said, "Time will pass rapidly, good deeds will decrease, miserliness will be thrown (in the hearts of the people) afflictions will appear and there will be much 'Al-Harj." They said, "O Allah's Apostle! What is "Al-Harj?" He said, "Killing! Killing!" (See Hadith No. 63, Vol. 8)

Volume 9, Book 88, Number 234:

Allah's Apostle said, "Soon the river "Euphrates" will disclose the treasure (the mountain) of gold, so whoever will be present at that time should not take anything of it." Al-A'raj narrated from Abii Huraira that the Prophet said the same but he said, "It (Euphrates) will uncover a mountain of gold (under it)."

Volume 9, Book 88, Number 237:
Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established (1) till two big groups fight each other whereupon there will be a great number of casualties on both sides and they will be following one and the same religious doctrine, (2) till about thirty Dajjals (liars) appear, and each one of them will claim that he is Allah's Apostle, (3) till the religious knowledge is taken away (by the death of Religious scholars) (4) earthquakes will increase in number (5) time will pass quickly, (6) afflictions will appear, (7) Al-Harj, (i.e., killing) will increase, (8) till wealth will be in abundance ---- so abundant that a wealthy person will worry lest nobody should accept his Zakat, and whenever he will present it to someone, that person (to whom it will be offered) will say, 'I am not in need of it, (9) till the people compete with one another in constructing high buildings, (10) till a man when passing by a grave of someone will say, 'Would that I were in his place (11) and till the sun rises from the West. So when the sun will rise and the people will see it (rising from the West) they will all believe (embrace Islam) but that will be the time when: (As Allah said,) 'No good will it do to a soul to believe then, if it believed not before, nor earned good (by deeds of righteousness) through its Faith.' (6.158) And the Hour will be established while two men spreading a garment in front of them but they will not be able to sell it, nor fold it up; and the Hour will be established when a man has milked his she-camel and has taken away the milk but he will not be able to drink it; and the Hour will be established before a man repairing a tank (for his livestock) is able to water (his animals) in it; and the Hour will be established when a person has raised a morsel (of food) to his mouth but will not be able to eat it."

Let's not forget that before the supposed rapture--i don't believe it will be before the Tribulation--that there are some events that are taking place right now. Real quick-- we will have a world power--some say the UN--but there's another power coming up from Europe (I forget what they're called)--we will have the mark of the beast for trading, buying and selling--and there will be one world currancy which Europe has already come together with the Euro. Online there's the Egold that's accepted world-wide.

It's closer than what some people think--but still a little way off. I expecpt my child to have to go through the Tribulation... me--maybe, maybe not.

If you look at the history and the bible there is a time table of sorts. Back in the 40's Israel became a nation again--that was likened to the springtime or the beginning of the end--if you wish to put it so bluntly. Then there's other events, and I admit that my knowledge is limited, but I figured out one time that this is like the fall. Things are coming together, and there will be many many antichrists, false profits, and such right before the Tribulation. Well... look at how many crazy people have been running about claiming to be Jesus or some spiritual leader.... David Korisch from Waco, TX is a prime example. He killed 30 some people who believed that David was taking them to heaven.... I'm sure they're burning in hell now....sadly.

Anyway, read up on the bible and the history of the world. Some of Daniel's (i think that was where we found it) predictions have already come to pass.

I believe things are happening that are referenced in Bible prophecy, but I don't think we're in the end times. Every generation of believers since the first century A.D. has made the same mistake....i.e., believing it is one of the last. Time means nothing to God. If Yeshua did not return for another few centuries I wouldn't be surprised. According to the luni-solar calendar that the prophet Daniel would have been familiar with, were only in year 5,961 of man. We're not that far along.

Besides, I believe that Christianity must be broken down before the Messiah returns. Catholicism, Orthodoxy, Protestism, etc....none of these matter. What we have with YHWH through Yeshua and the Spirit is not a religion, it is a relationship....an identity and a way of life. We are Israel, the nation of God dispersed around the world, and all believers must realize this.

In the end, we shouldn't focus so much upon what isn't.....rather, we should focus upon what is. We are here now in the 21st century. Let's live the best lives we can as modern Israelites for the glory of God.

I don't believe there will ever be end times for the world, end times are for humans individually, man has been quoting end times for millenniums now, the only end I have seen is for the person quoting it, the world in it's self is a mystery man will never have a answer to, but you and I and all life have a guarantee here and that is death, what ever happens to the world at our death we will never know, we can only hope that we go to a better place. now for the second part of your question the book of revelations, since it's conception even the writers of it have tried to interpret it's meaning, down through the ages man has tried to interpret it, today we are still trying to interpret it, the bible unquestionably has been turned inside and out every possible way you can imagine looking for answers and all we come up with is an interpretation no one can agree on, when so many religions have so many interpretations of what is written in the bible you wonder why so many people today question it's validity.

There is some truth in the Bible. There is also a lot of archaeologically proven inaccuracies. The "end times" come when YOU die. Stop worrying so much about the end of the world and get to taking care of your family and friends. The "end times" will come when they will. BTW: the "end times" have been predicted to have occurred on multiple ocassions in the past and guess what? The Earth is still here! So... figure it out.

We are witnessing the decline of the earth’s environment and resources, a prophetic fulfillment of the Bible.

At the Fourth SEAL, one-fourth part of the earth is to be destroyed before we move forward to the next Seal events (Re.6:7-8 below).

Once the one-fourth part is destroyed, we will move through the SEAL events, followed by the Seven TRUMPET events, and, finally, the Seven Last PLAGUE events.

When the world faces acts of terrorism are we not facing beasts of the earth (Re.6:8, Jude 1:10-11, Titus 1:12, 2 Pet.2:11-13 below)?

Re.6:7And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

Re.6:8And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the FOURTH PART of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Beasts of the Earth -

Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain (1 Jn.3:12, Matt.13:38), and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Titus 1:12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

2 Pet 2:11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

2 Pet.2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

2 Pet.2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

Jesus was supposed to return 1900 years ago. But he didn't.

Why? He's dead. And he's staying that way.

Stop putting focus into worrying about the end of the world, as depicted in a very narrow-minded book written twenty centuries ago, and instead work on trying to avoid the end of the world.

I agree with you i don't think the end times are as close as most people think. Besides the bible says that when Jesus comes again he will come like a thief in the night when no one expects him. Even though the world has lots of atheists in it now there are still plenty of people waiting and watching for the second coming.

Jesus was supposed to have returned while his 12 apostles were still alive. People have been shrieking about the end times for centuries.

So either Jesus is really, really late, or it's all a bunch of bullshit, like the other 99.99999% of religion.

I do not see what you refer happening , the Byble uses a complicated language that is difficult to decode and should not be interpretated literally, I believe the real end of times (that the Byble refers ,) is the end of one´s personal (interior) world, your own conscience and not the end of the material world, remember matter is not destroyed only transformed.

I have no idea but it is best to be ready at all times and never let your guard down.

What I do know is that when Jesus came the first time no one had interpreted the scriptures to expect Him the way He came. I think that God is so big and His mind is so unsearchably complex that we would be horrendously arrogant to believe that we could predict what He will or will not do. I also think that He may change His plans according to how obedient we are to His will for us.
