Don't ever doubt that God is far, far stronger than Satan. Satan's power is limited; God's power is limitless. Satan's power is temporary; God's power is eternal. Satan's power is entirely evil; God's power is entirely good.
Furthermore, Satan is part of the creation—but God is the Creator. In fact, the Bible repeatedly calls God the "Sovereign Lord"—because that is what He is. It says, "Sovereign Lord ... you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them" (Acts 4:24). Satan didn't make the world; God did—and God is still in control of it, because He is sovereign.
Yes, Satan has a certain measure of power, and we often see his power at work today. How else can we explain some of the terrible things that happen? Never forget that Satan has one goal: to block God's work wherever he can. To do this he will use every trick he can to deceive us and turn us away from Christ.
But someday Christ will return and destroy the devil's work. Satan is a defeated foe! Until that day, make it your goal to follow Christ. The Bible says, "Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour" (1 Peter 5:8). Don't become his next victim!

Prior to the recently new religion of christianity which has taken the world by storm at swordpoint, I am told that the commonly held theory was that good and evil work in unison to a particular end. You have to bear in mind that on most planes time is different. Demons and angels already know whats going to happen because it has already happened. Time doesn't exist like that. Satan is not more powerful since he is composed of the evil that was created from opposing god. There is pandora's box, or the theory that demons exist from our hateful thoughtforms or the christian belief that the war in heaven separated lucifer and he was condemned for his opposition of god. The thing to remember in this is that while evil is easier choosing evil is choosing to share lucifer's fate out of hatred for god. He didn't do what he did to help his, he did it out of hatred of god. So if you do want to go to hell, then you should have a pretty good reason.
Whereas being good is difficult you should realise that it is difficult for a reason.

Absolutely not! God has infinite more power than Satan, but so many people choose follow Satan's path because it is easier than the God's right path, but God gave us the liberty in our life to choose which one we follow, and Satan wants everyone to follow his, but God created the world and this is His Earth
I suggest that you read the first and lasts books of the Bible, Genesis and Revelations, they will give you the best answer

This is what Satan think, and it is also what he hope people will think that way.
Yes you are right, may be, that it is far easy to do evil than good. But that is the point. Only the powerful one will do the difficult task.
Following God's path is not hard. Just believe in Him that give all power and strength to all freely. Understand His word, and follow.
As a believer and follower of Jesus, when facing the evil spirit, I have no fear and the evil spirit flee in the name of Jesus. You got the point?
This is what I shared with my children, all magic is real, all power of stars and from all charm. However, they are all belong to the evil one, which is satan.
Yet again, do remember that the devil is once an angel, and an creature like us too. And all his power were from one single source, God.
So, as follower of Jesus, we are join heir with him as Children of God, and have direct relation with Him. Now, will it be simple to understand who is more powerful? For we have the protection from God, which is the source of all power.
In the end, every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, even Satan will have to do that, as much as he does not like to admint it.
May I pray that you choose clearly, where you want to draw your spower from.

Satan
In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

I don't believe that satan is more powerful than God. He just shows us the easy way out. And as human beings we are always trying to find a better easier way. It is not usually the right way.

No, Satan is NOT more powerful than God. At times, it may appear he is, but appearances can be deceiving.
Doing bad things is much easier than following God's path because the human race is infected with a disease called SIN. When Adam & Eve disobeyed God's only command in the Garden of Eden, they died to God spiritually. Therefore, everyone who was born after them, was born dead - dead to God and righteousness, but alive to Satan and sin.
When we do wrong things, we are doing what comes naturally to our fallen human nature. That's what makes it so easy.
So how do we change this? We have to die to Satan and sin and become alive to God and righteousness. Unfortunately, we can't do this on our own because we have our own sin to die for, so we can't die to it. As the Bible says, "anyone who sins is a slave to sin". We need a substitute. His name is Jesus.
Jesus died for the sins of mankind because mankind can't do it. So, all we need to do is agree with God that what Jesus did was sufficient and then accept Jesus as Saviour and Lord. Having done that, don't think you can live the Christian life in your own strength because the fallen human nature still exists. You need to offer your body to Jesus for His use each and every day and let His Spirit fill you and control you. Without the Spirit's control, you will go back to doing what comes naturally - and all your non-Christian friends will think you're a hypocrite.
Why does God allow sin to run rampant on earth? So that individuals will see how terrible it is, decide they don't want to live that way, and seek Him. He created us to be intelligent beings, after all.

No of course not how can you even feel that way! This goes to show that we as people forget what we have and who we are. Like they say the mind is the power and if you think and feel so then it shall be. You must believe in God for he is the reason you are here.
